While working on issues in the last few years, I used tools like FileMon, RegMon, ProcMon, and so many other Mons! Little did I realize that my weight needs monitoring too Smile. So, after procrastinating as much as I could, and for as long as possible, I decided to fix myself.

The funny part was… instead of going to a gym, I decided to find an app that does what I want. I tried my level best, and was disappointed by the apps that existed. Hence, before I hit the gym, I wrote this app - WeightMon - for myself. It does a few things quite well, like…

It doesn't take a penny out of your pocket. It is absolutely FREE, and there are no ads.
Add your weight record and display it in a list.
You can set a target weight, and track your progress.

The app has a live tile, so I strongly recommend you to pin it to your start screen. The tile will show you the updates and change colors, so you don't need to open the app every time. Besides, it will keep reminding that you have a job at hand! You can glance and check whether you are on your way to your target weight or not. [green tile below should make you happy, and red tile should raise an alarm]

There is a progress chart available so you can visualize how you are doing.

You can backup your record in OneDrive and restore it later if required. I would recommend you to backup frequently for obvious reason!
There are a few awesome books recommended in the app. In my opinion, they are some of the best books available and Amazon ratings should give you a clear idea why I say that. Check them out!

Send me your feedback, and I will try to implement that if possible. If you find a bug, please report to me at rahul @ dotnetscraps . com.

Set a target today… and beat it!!!

Good luck. Cool
